Based in Washington, DC, she oversees operational and administrative functions across the firm’s five offices: Washington, DC; Brussels; San Francisco; Shanghai; and Boulder. Working in close partnership with the Management Committee, Renee leads the execution of Keller and Heckman’s strategic initiatives.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland and maintains Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), bringing both technical expertise and proven project leadership capabilities to her role. | |

drummond@khlaw.comSharon Drummond joined Keller and Heckman in 1993 and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout her more than three decades with the firm. She was promoted to Human Resources Manager in 2004, became Director of Human Resources in March 2010, and was named Director of Administrative Operations in May 2014. In 2026, she assumed her current role as Director of Administrative Operations and Special Projects. Drawing on her extensive knowledge of the firm and its operations, Sharon supports key operational initiatives, oversees the firm’s office relocation efforts, provides transition support, and manages special projects requiring coordination across departments and offices. | |

As Director of Human Resources, Julia oversees the firm’s human resources function and works closely with the Global Executive Director on the firm’s people-related priorities. She collaborates with attorneys, scientists, and business operations professionals across the firm, providing guidance on employee relations, recruiting, performance management, benefits administration, professional development, and human resources policies. Before joining Keller and Heckman, Julia held human resources roles in law firms and other professional services organizations. Julia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Furman University. | |

Caryn oversees the Marketing team, which is responsible for the coordination of business development initiatives for firm attorneys and scientists, such as seminars and webinars, websites and blogs, as well as client alerts and publications. She is responsible for the development and implementation of strategy, branding, and website development. Caryn graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. | |
