Keller and Heckman's Food and Drug Practice Once Again Receives Highest Ranking in Chambers and Partners USA

For the sixth consecutive year, Keller and Heckman LLP’s Food and Drug Practice has been ranked a Chambers USA Band 1 firm in the area of Food and Beverages: Regulatory & Litigation – Nationwide. This is the firm’s fourteenth year being ranked, which solidifies its position as an industry leader among only three firms in Band 1. Additionally, Partner Devon Hill received an individual Band 3 ranking.

Keller and Heckman’s Food and Drug Practice provides clients with the expertise necessary to establish regulatory compliance for foods, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, tobacco, veterinary products, dietary supplements, and cosmetics, including packaging regulations for items within these industries – thereby assisting clients in bringing products to market. The practice has more than fifty years of experience representing companies and trade associations before the FDA, FTC, and other government agencies, and in successfully handling challenges to marketed products, including putative class actions.

Differentiating the firm from its peers, Keller and Heckman has utilized an in-house scientific staff since 1971 that works closely with the firm’s attorneys on matters of technical complexity, providing an unparalleled depth of expertise. In an interview by Chambers, a Keller and Heckman Food and Drug client remarked, “They are just a really class organization. To me they set the standard. When we go to our customer with opinion letters from Keller and Heckman, they are the gold standard. It is truly a joy to work with them."

As well as the firm receiving a band 1 ranking, Keller and Heckman Partner Devon Hill received an individual Band 3 ranking. Mr. Hill assists clients with the regulatory issues involved in the global marketing of new products. Specifically, Mr. Hill focuses on compliance and testing issues surrounding the regulation of food, cosmetics, and food and drug packaging materials in the United States and Europe.

For over two decades, Chambers has highlighted the uppermost tiers of legal performance, establishing those selected for inclusion in its Band categories as leaders in their respective fields. Chambers relies on extensive client feedback in addition to robust independent research to determine its rankings. Both practices and independent attorneys are ranked based on effectiveness and achievements, experience, and value delivered to clients.

Keller and Heckman has a broad practice in the areas of regulatory law, litigation, and business transactions, serving both domestic and international clients. With offices in Washington, DC, Brussels, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Boulder, the firm helps the world's most vital businesses achieve their objectives.
