Keller and Heckman Ranked in Chambers Europe Guide 2023

Keller and Heckman has been ranked in the 2023 Chambers and Partners Europe Guide in the categories of Regulatory: Agro/Food, Spotlight Table, and Regulatory: Environment, Band 3. Additionally, Rachida Semail, a partner based in Brussels, Belgium in the firm’s Food and Drug Practice, maintains her Spotlight Table ranking within the same guide and category, Regulatory: Agro/Food.

With an office in Brussels, Belgium, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, Keller and Heckman’s internationally recognized European Food and Drug Practice and Environmental Practice are comprised of diverse teams of attorneys and scientists collaborating to meet the demands of clients in the EU and around the globe.

The firm’s internationally recognized European Food and Drug Practice provides legal advice to food and food packaging clients, including trade associations, on a comprehensive array of legal and regulatory issues. They promote, protect, and defend products made by the spectrum of industries regulated under national, international, and EU food law, advising the world’s largest and most prestigious food manufacturing, food processing, recycled products, and waste conglomerates. Additionally, the Food and Drug Practice provides multiple resources to the industries they serve through PackagingLaw.com, The Daily Intake and Tomorrow’s Food and Feed blogs, as well as the Food & Chemicals Unpacked podcast.

For the second consecutive year, Rachida Semail received a Spotlight Table ranking for her specialized knowledge in food law, including food contact regulations. Rachida is one of only eight attorneys to receive this prestigious individual ranking.

Keller and Heckman’s world-renowned Environmental Practice provides industrial, corporate, and association clients with creative and cost-effective solutions for regulatory compliance, environmental management, and pollution prevention. The strength of the practice derives from Keller and Heckman’s deep understanding of their clients' industries and having a broad range of environmental knowledge, both scientific and legal.

Along with its inclusion in the Chambers Europe Guide, Keller and Heckman’s international Food and Drug Practice garners rankings in the Chambers USA Guide and Chambers Greater China Guide. These rankings further demonstrate Keller and Heckman’s international standing as a leader in the food, drug, and packaging law industries.

Chambers and Partners highlights the uppermost tiers of legal performance, relying on extensive client feedback in addition to robust, independent research to determine its rankings. Both practices and independent attorneys are ranked based on achievements, experience, and value delivered to clients and their industries.
