March 8, 2017 Topic: EPA's Call for Use Information for the First 10 Chemicals to Undergo Risk Evaluation

This month we discussed EPA's Call for Use Information for the First 10 Chemicals to Undergo Risk Evaluation. EPA is beginning the process to define the scope of the risk evaluation that it will conduct for the following chemicals: 1,4-Dioxane; 1-Bromopropane; Asbestos; Carbon Tetrachloride; Cyclic Aliphatic Bromide Cluster; Methylene Chloride; N-methylpyrrolidone; Pigment Violet 29; Tetrachloroethylene; and, Trichloroethylene. As part of that process, EPA is asking for use and conditions of use information for these chemicals.

Topics discussed:

  • What Information is EPA requesting;
  • How to Respond to EPA’s information request; and
  • How EPA considers uses and specific conditions of use in a risk evaluation.
