Keller and Heckman Partner Jim Baller was quoted in the latest issue of TR Daily in the article “Panelists Examine Broadband Partnership Possibilities.” The article focuses on the recent Broadband Breakfast at which Jim Baller was a panelist. The discussion was centered around the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), which Jim believes will fuel a surge of broadband partnerships. When discussing the potential for broadband partnerships Jim said, “All across the country, local governments have realized that advanced communications, like electric systems, are enablers of simultaneous progress in everything that matters to them, including economic development and educational opportunity, and public safety, transportation, workforce development. So a community that doesn’t have access to an advance communications network at affordable rates, terms, and conditions is not just at risk of falling behind in basic communications but in all of these areas as the world passes them by.”
