How those changes might play out remains an open question. Despite the Biden administration’s call to reexamine the 2017 final risk evaluation rule, those codified procedures can’t be undone overnight.
"Once a rule has been finalized, a new administration would be required to undergo the rulemaking process to change or repeal all or part of the rule," Mr. Estreicher said.
