Herb Estreicher Quoted in an Article on EPA “Black Sky” Summit

Keller and Heckman Partner Herb Estreicher was quoted in the Bloomberg Law article, “EPA Holds ‘Black Sky’ Summit, Chemical Use Sharing Debated, Drones Hunt Contamination.” The article discusses how, as Hurricane Florence vividly depicts severe weather’s toll, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is hosting a summit to discuss so-called “black sky” hazards. 

Black sky hazards are catastrophic events that severely disrupt the normal functioning of our critical infrastructure in multiple regions for long durations. The summit’s target audience is drinking water and wastewater utilities, water and energy associations, electric utilities, and local, state, and federal government agencies.
