David Fischer Quoted in Article on EPA Improved TSCA Program

Keller and Heckman Counsel David Fischer was quoted in the Inside TSCA article, “EPA Seeks To Bolster Intra-Agency Committee To Advance TSCA Program.” The article discusses how EPA leaders are working to strengthen coordination across agency programs to improve TSCA risk evaluations and risk management. 

Before the presidential transition, the EPA worked on “creating a committee of other program offices to help inform the [TSCA] steps of prioritization, risk evaluation and to seek input on what chemicals should be selected [for evaluation],” but it was never actually put into practice, said David.

David explains the current situation with 1-BP and the EPA’s plan to regulate it as “underscore[ing] the need for that intra-agency group.”
