Partners Jim Baller, Casey Lide, Tom Magee, Sean Stokes, and Wes Wright to Present at NRECA’s Broadband Leadership Summit

Keller and Heckman Partners Jim Baller, Casey Lide, Tom Magee, Sean Stokes, and Wes Wright will present at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) Broadband Leadership Summit, to be held in Washington, DC on November 7 – 9, 2023.

Casey and Tom will serve as speakers in a panel titled “Open Internet Overview and Discussion.” They will provide an overview of a recent FCC proposal to reclassify broadband as a Title II service, and to reinstate the network neutrality rules originally implemented during the Obama Administration. They will also discuss the potential impacts on how cooperatives operate their broadband business.

Jim, Sean, and Wes will lead a breakout session titled “Dark Fiber Leasing,” which will explore the considerations around dark fiber leasing and your broadband business.
