Keller and Heckman Partners Casey Lide and Sean Stokes will present at the Broadband Communities Summit 2026, to be held in Houston, Texas on August 25-27, 2026.

Sean’s panel, “Bridging the Gaps: Local ISPs, Co-ops, and Community Networks Driving Broadband Access,” will discuss topics such as how local ISPs, co-ops, and community networks close coverage gaps; utility and community partnerships that support affordable, resilient networks; building trust and coordination across providers and utilities; and more.

Casey will serve as a panelist for the session “Data Centers as Broadband Hubs: Connecting Communities,” which will address the fiber demands for data centers, partnering with utilities, permitting and infrastructure, and how data centers can work with the local community.

Additionally, Casey and Sean will jointly present on the topic “Untangling the Legal Knots in Broadband.” This presentation will include understanding how federal, state, and local regulations overlap; identifying common contract risks like easements, leases, and service agreements; addressing compliance challenges tied to funding programs; and developing strategies to reduce legal risk while still moving deployment forward efficiently.
