Partner Peter Craddock to Present at the CEDPO DPO Conference 2025

Keller and Heckman Partner Peter Craddock will present at the Confederation of European Data Protection Organisations (CEDPO) DPO Conference 2025, to be held in Brussels, Belgium on 13-14 October 2025.

Peter will present on the panel “The Gate Keepers’ Gate Keeper: GDPR and the Digital Markets Act." This presentation will explore the dynamic interplay between the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA) within the evolving policy environment of ensuring that Europe has fair and open digital markets. With a focus on regulatory compliance, competitive fairness, and acute global geopolitical tensions, participants will examine how these frameworks intersect to protect user privacy, promote market competition, and prevent monopolistic practices by major digital platforms.

This panel will highlight the impact of sharp geopolitical tensions on existing data frameworks, the policy differences between the EU and major partners, and how the GDPR may need to adapt to handle today's challenges.
