e-Billing Coordinator - Hybrid (Washington, DC Office)

Description

We are seeking an e-Billing Coordinator to join our Billing team. This position plays an important role in supporting the firm’s electronic billing operations for a sophisticated global client base.

The e-Billing Coordinator works closely with lawyers, billing professionals, clients, and vendors to ensure invoices are submitted accurately, timely, and in compliance with client billing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage electronic billing submissions across multiple client e-billing platforms
  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and outside counsel requirements
  • Review and resolve invoice rejections, including coordinating corrections and resubmissions
  • Serve as a point of contact for e-billing-related inquiries from lawyers, clients, and vendors
  • Prepare reporting related to electronic billing submissions, rejections, and trends
  • Support client onboarding and ongoing maintenance of e-billing systems
  • Assist with billing-related projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
  • 3+ years of law firm billing and e-billing experience
  • Familiarity with Aderant or Elite billing systems is a plus; training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with lawyers and staff
  • Adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Hybrid Work Arrangement
This role follows a hybrid work model. Hybrid schedules are determined based on role requirements and business needs.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is: $75,000 - $100,000, representing the low and high end of the salary range. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, job-related experience, qualifications, and internal alignment. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, prescription drug, vision, and dental coverage.
