Billing Coordinator - Hybrid (Washington, DC Office)
We are seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our Billing team. This role supports the firm’s billing operations and works closely with lawyers and billing professionals to ensure invoices are prepared accurately, timely, and in accordance with firm and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process client invoices in compliance with firm policies and client billing guidelines
- Coordinate with lawyers and billing colleagues to address billing questions and resolve issues
- Monitor billing timelines and ensure adherence to internal and client deadlines
- Respond to billing-related inquiries from lawyers and clients
- Assist with billing reports and tracking related to billing activity and trends
- Support billing-related projects and process improvements as needed
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
- Law firm billing experience preferred but not required - we welcome recent graduates and candidates with varying levels of experience
- Familiarity with Aderant or Elite billing systems is a plus; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with lawyers and staff
- Adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Hybrid Work Arrangement
This role follows a hybrid work model. Hybrid schedules are determined based on role requirements and business needs.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is: $65,000 - $90,000, representing the low and high end of the salary range. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, job-related experience, qualifications, and internal alignment. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, prescription drug, vision, and dental coverage.
