Herb Estreicher was quoted in the Bloomberg BNA Chemical Regulation Reporter Article "EU Limited in Regulating Nanoscale Chemicals, Appeals Board Rules." In the March 2 article, Herb indicates that the European Chemicals Agency "will not be able until the legislation is revised to ask for that information." "That information" refers to a requirement for companies to submit specific nanoform substance identity information. Herb goes on to indicate that there is currently little evidence that the nanoforms of substances present different environmental and health concerns to the bulk forms of the same substances, thereby making the chemicals agency "hard pressed" to justify nanospecific information requests.
