Taylor Johnson advises clients on matters related to occupational safety and health law, employment law, and litigation. Taylor represents employers’ interests in citations and investigations under federal Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and state plans across the country. Additionally, Taylor counsels clients on an extensive range of environmental matters including compliance with U.S. chemical control laws, pesticide and pesticidal device regulation, domestic and international transportation of hazardous materials and dangerous goods, community right-to-know laws, energy efficiency regulation of products, and California’s Proposition 65.

  • Represented employers in construction, manufacturing, transportation, retail, and distribution, in contesting OSHA citations in almost every OSHA region and state plans nationwide
  • Successfully represented businesses in event cancellation insurance claims 
  • Effectively petitioned OSHA for interpretation letter reconsideration on behalf of clients
  • Secured competent authority approvals and letters of interpretation from regulatory authorities around the world
  • Successfully petitioned the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) for special permit approvals on behalf of shippers seeking regulatory relief
  • Advised clients on state legislation imposing vapor products flavor bans and taxes
