Amanda Price

Amanda Price specializes in chemical and regulatory issues, focusing on commercializing new chemicals under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Canadian Environmental Protection Act 1999 (CEPA), the Australian Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, and the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH). Her areas of expertise include modeling chemical properties, environmental releases, human exposure to chemicals, and the OECD Toolbox for researching toxicity data on chemicals and their analogs.

Amanda helps clients navigate the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new and evolving confidentiality requirements and with the filing of pesticide establishment and annual reporting forms. In addition, she helps clients file premanufacturing notifications (PMNs) and with preparing Significant New Use Notifications. She also prepares TSCA active notifications and assists with TSCA audits, ensuring that client chemical portfolios are compliant with TSCA activity requirements, section 4, 6, and 8 rules, and other TSCA regulations.

Amanda assists foreign and domestic clients with the preparation of chemical notifications using the Central Data Exchange (CDX), International Uniform Chemical Information Database (IUCLID), and REACH-IT systems, and prepares notification forms for the Philippines Environmental Management Bureau. She has extensive experience working with scientific databases to research information on environmental and mammalian toxicity of chemicals and assists clients with Chemical Data Reporting (CDR).

Prior to joining Keller and Heckman, Amanda worked for Ardelle Associates, where she created a biomedical reference database using PUBMED for senior investigators at the National Institute of Health. While interning at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, she worked to improve climate models of the upper atmosphere and studied the recovery of heavy metals from laboratory waste to prevent pollution.
