Manesh Rath Quoted in an Inside OSHA Article on OSHA Proposed Rule for Workplace Inspections

Keller and Heckman Partner Manesh Rath was quoted in the Inside OSHA article, “OSHA Floats Rule Allowing 'Third-Party' Worker Representatives at Inspection.” The article discusses the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) proposing to reinstate a controversial rule that would allow third parties such as union representatives to accompany agency officials on inspections. This rulemaking is likely to face opposition from employer groups and others. During Keller and Heckman’s February 22, 2023, OSHA 30/30 webinar, Manesh stated that the then-planned rule “is going to be among the most important development[s] of the year 2023 in the field of OSHA law.”
