Lauren Gates Quoted in Inside EPA Article on Methylene Chloride Ruling Shaping TCE Challenges

Keller and Heckman Counsel Lauren Gates was quoted in the Inside EPA article, “Industry Cites Landmark TSCA Ruling To Bolster TCE Rule Challenges.” The article discusses how industry groups are citing the Fifth Circuit’s decision vacating the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) methylene chloride rule to support their ongoing challenges to EPA’s trichloroethylene (TCE) rule, arguing that both rules suffer from similar legal and scientific flaws. 

Lauren described the TCE litigation as “one to keep eyes on . . . [to see] if DOJ tries to pull it back or if they’ll go forward” to oral argument.
