Keller and Heckman to Host Virtual 2020 Food Packaging Law Seminar

Keller and Heckman’s 21st annual Food Packaging Law Seminar will be a virtual event for the first time due to concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The seminar will be held over three consecutive days, from October 27 to 29, to better facilitate interaction with speakers and other attendees. The virtual format for the 2020 Food Packaging Law Seminar will allow participants to "chat" with the speakers one-on-one, network with colleagues, participate in discussion forums, and more.

Keller and Heckman’s Food Packaging Law Seminar has been hailed as “very informative” and providing an “excellent overview of food contact packaging regulations.” Aimed at regulatory, scientific, and legal professionals throughout the food packaging supply chain, the program will cover the basics of both food packaging laws and regulations, in addition to current issues facing the global food packaging industry. One former attendee described the program as having “something for everyone,” from individuals new to the industry to experienced ones. “I’ve never left without learning something new,” he added.

Presentations by Keller and Heckman’s food packaging attorneys and scientists will provide practical guidance on how to attain clearances for food-contact materials in jurisdictions around the world, from the U.S. and South America to Europe, Japan, and China. Attendees will also learn about the latest developments impacting the global food-contact industry with presentations on timely topics, such as the impact that environmental initiatives are having on food packaging, developments related to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), California’s Proposition 65, and best practices in providing customer assurances.

Registration for the Food Packaging Law Seminar is now open. Pricing and event details can be found here.
