WASHINGTON, D.C., May 12, 2017 – Keller and Heckman LLP announces the publication of The Use of Nanomaterials in Food Contact Materials: Design, Applications, Safety, edited by Rob Veraart, Ph.D. Joan Baughan, Rachida Semail, Hazel O’Keeffe and Mark Thompson authored chapters within the book. Rob Veraart authored the chapter on “Determination of Migration of Nanoparticles from Food-Contact Materials.” Joan Baughan edited Global Legislation for Food Contact Materials, one of the leading texts on this subject. Here, she wrote the chapter on “Regulation of Nanotechnology in Food-Contact Applications in the United States and Canada.” Rachida Semail and Hazel O’Keeffe contributed “EU Member State legislation on Nanomaterials,” and Mark Thompson wrote “Legislative Status of Nanomaterials in Food-Contact Materials in Asia Pacific.”
