The Frank R. Lautenberg - Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), H.R. 2576 was signed into order on June 22, 2016 by President Obama. This act includes the most extensive changes since TSCA was enacted 40 years ago and consumer product companies will be vastly affected by the changes. On July 13, 2016 Keller and Heckman's TSCA and Consumer Products experts Sheila Millar, Martha Marrapese and Nathan Cardon presented a webinar to help guide you through the myriad of changes detailing what you need to know now and what to expect in the future.

Highlights included:

  • Federal Issues - How will TSCA Modernization affect chemical restrictions and initiatives at CPSC?
  • State Issues - How will TSCA Modernization affect the state green chemistry and other initiatives?
  • Interfacing with EPA - What can we expect in the initial stages of implementation.
