Partner Katie Skaggs to Present at the PFAS Regulation and Litigation Seminar

Keller and Heckman DC Partner Kathryn (Katie) C. Skaggs will be presenting at the upcoming PFAS Regulation & Litigation Seminar, hosted by Law Seminars International on September 23, 2026, in Santa Fe, New Mexico (and available via interactive online broadcast). 

Based in Keller and Heckman’s Washington, DC office, Katie Skaggs advises clients on complex environmental regulatory compliance, risk management, and litigation matters. Her practice focuses heavily on the rapidly changing legal landscape surrounding per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), helping businesses navigate emerging state and federal environmental standards, product stewardship rules, and chemical safety requirements.

She will co-present a panel session titled “Evolving PFAS Regulations and Prospects for Congressional Action” alongside Sarah Peterman Bell of Farella Braun + Martel and Mark S. Heinzelmann of Lowenstein Sandler. The presentation will provide a comprehensive, multidimensional perspective on federal regulatory developments, examining key actions under the Clean Water Act (CWA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), and Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
