Partner Eve Pelonis to Present at PLC's 2025 Food Label Conference

Keller and Heckman Partner Eve Pelonis will present at the Prime Label Consultants (PLC) 37th Annual Food Label Conference, to be held in Washington, DC on June 1 – 4, 2025.

Eve will be presenting on the topic “Natural Labeling Complexities,” which will discuss how the natural products market continues to grow in the U.S. and around the globe. Eve’s presentation will explore the differences between FDA and USDA definitions of “natural” and when the claim may present litigation risks. Eve will also discuss the impact on retail, restaurants and customer perception, and explore the pros and cons of this contentious claim, both on the package and in related advertising and marketing.
