Keller and Heckman Counsel LieAnn Van-Tull will present at the 2025 Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI) Tobacco and Nicotine Products Regulation and Policy Conference, to be held in Washington, DC on October 28-29.

LieAnn Van-Tull will moderate the panel, “Science that Drives Policy: What Research Do We Really Need?” which will explore critical scientific gaps that may warrant immediate rulemaking or authorization decisions.

Panelists will examine the current state of research in toxicology, epidemiology, public health communications, and behavioral science – highlighting specific examples such as the National Youth Tobacco Survey (NYTS) – and discuss how scientific evidence can more effectively inform and shape regulatory policy.
