The Telecommunications Practice Group at Keller and Heckman LLP has a wealth of experience in policy matters before the Federal Communications Commission. A number of our telecom attorneys worked in policy and management positions at the FCC before joining Keller and Heckman. Others have decades of experience in policy matters before the FCC. Collectively, our attorneys have almost 200 years of experience practicing at or before the FCC on policy matters.
We represent corporate clients and trade associations in all types of rulemaking proceedings involving major wireless and wireline policies and procedures. By filing formal Comments at the FCC as well as meeting with FCC officials, Keller and Heckman advocates our clients’ interests ranging from spectrum allocations, to technical and licensing standards, to broadband incentive auctions. We handle waiver requests and petitions for declaratory rulings in all aspects of our wireless and wireline practices.
We also are involved in a wide variety of state proceedings – from pole attachment rate setting to filing certificates of public convenience and necessity for CLECs– all advancing our clients’ positions or enabling their core businesses.
