Herb Estreicher Cited in Article on Ratification of Chemical Treaties
Keller and Heckman Partner Herb Estreicher was cited in the Bloomberg Law article, “Views Differ as to Whether U.S. May Ratify Global Chemical Treaties Following Election.” The article discusses how a major trade association and an environmental group official disagree as to whether the United States is likely in the near future to ratify treaties regulating hazardous chemicals and pesticides in global commerce.
Unless the United States ratifies the treaties, global commerce and management of these compounds will continue without the United States having a vote.
