Robert Mathews, Ph.D. is a full member of the Society of Toxicology. He has significant research experience in biochemistry, chemistry, and carcinogenesis, and in the examination of the physical chemical properties of proteins, enzymes, and the binding of carcinogens to DNA. Since joining Keller and Heckman, Dr. Mathews' activities have focused on food ingredient safety, risk assessment, and other health and toxicological issues. Previously, he was director of the Food Chemicals Codex for seven years and was a member of the Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives and the U.S.P. Committee of Revision.
