Navigating 900 MHz Rebanding

Join Keller and Heckman partners Greg Kunkle and Wes Wright for a complimentary webinar, Navigating 900 MHz Rebanding on Thursday, September 24 at 12:00pm EDT.

In May the FCC adopted a Report and Order to enable a broadband service in the 896-901/935-940 MHz band (“900 MHz Band”). The broadband service will be a 3 MHz x 3 MHz allocation and the remaining 2 MHz x 2 MHz blocks will be retained for narrowband voice operations. The narrowband segments consist of 158 paired, 12.5 kHz channels. Anterix – the presumptive licensee of the broadband segment –has already started reaching out to incumbent 900 MHz licensees to discuss voluntarily relocating these licensees out of the broadband segment of the 900 MHz band.

We will discuss:

- Background on the 900 MHz Band
- Updated Band Plan
- Negotiating with Anterix
- Obtaining 900 MHz Broadband Service
