Many of our clients have international business interests, and we are increasingly asked to provide advice on foreign laws and regulations, such as specific procedures necessary to obtain approvals for products in foreign markets. In addition to the European Union (EU), we have significant experience with chemical control laws in other parts of the world, including Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and the Philippines. We also advise a host of foreign clients on applicable requirements for marketing products in the U.S.
Our ability to undertake these functions is significantly augmented by our office in Brussels and our representative office in Shanghai. In addition, Keller and Heckman is a member of Mackrell International, a global network of independent law firms, which allows us to tap into legal resources in over 40 countries.
