Natalie Rainer will present "Food Safety: Ingredient Preclearance: Intentional Components of Food" at the Food and Drug Law Institute's (FDLI) Introduction to Food Law and Regulation Course: Understanding How the Government Regulates the Food industry. The intensive training course will be held September 22 and 23 in San Francisco, California. In her presentation, Natalie will discuss legal requirements for using food additives—as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)—and exemptions to the definition, such as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) substances.
