The World of Ingredients published an article written by Keller and Heckman Legal Consultant Maud Perrudin, titled, "Inside ‘Natural' Flavor Law," in its February 2011 issue. In the article, Ms. Perrudin discusses current efforts to implement the European Union (EU) Regulation on Flavorings, (EC) No 1334/2008. The article summarizes the new composition and labeling (incl. the use of the term "natural") requirements in the regulation and discusses some of the challenges to authorities and industry in implementing them.
