Keller and Heckman Elects New Partner for 2009 – Cyril Jacquet

Keller and Heckman is pleased to announce that Cyril Jacquet has become a Partner in the Firm.

Mr. Jacquet, a French national, resides in our Brussels Office and is registered with the Brussels Bar. He coordinates the efforts of our team of lawyers and scientists in Europe in the areas of chemical, environmental, consumer and trade law. His expertise covers biocidal and plant protection products, biotechnology, waste, consumer products from different industry sectors. Mr. Jacquet has been actively involved on the legal and technical aspects of REACH since the development of the Chemical Policy Review.

Before coming to Keller and Heckman, he was an administrator at the European Commission's Directorate General for the Internal Market, in the Unit in charge of the elimination of barriers to intra-Community trade. Prior to his assignment in the European institution, he was a senior legal counselor at the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) representing the organization in international institutions and advising the staff and the members companies on legal and advocacy matters.
