Robert Mathews, Ph.D. joined Keller and Heckman in 1987.
Dr. Mathews, a diplomate of the American Board on Toxicology, has significant research experience in biochemistry, chemistry, and carcinogenesis, involving the examination of the physical chemical properties of proteins, enzymology, and binding of carcinogens to DNA. Since joining Keller and Heckman, Dr. Mathews' activities have focused on food ingredient safety, risk assessment, and other health and toxicological issues. Previously, he was director of the Food Chemicals Codex for seven years and was a member of the Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives and the U.S.P. Committee of Revision.
