Luigi Rossi, Ph.D. joined Keller and Heckman in 2006. Dr. Rossi is the most prominent figure in the EU in the area of food contact legislation.
Dr. Rossi was previously the European Commission's Principal Administrator for the Food Contact Materials sector. He has prepared virtually all of the EU Directives and Technical documents relating to food-contact materials to date, and has chaired and participated in numerous meetings for the European Commission, Council, European Parliament, and the Economic and Social Committee. Before joining the European Commission, he served in several leadership roles for Italy's Institute of Superior Health (ISS).
Dr. Rossi serves as an Independent Strategic Advisor to Keller and Heckman and advises firm clients on the interpretation of EU and national legislation, strategies for clearing new food contact materials, and interfacing with EU and national authorities.
