Leyla Mujkic joined Keller and Heckman in 2007 and is a member of the firm's litigation practice.
While at Hastings College of the Law, Ms. Mujkic was awarded honorable mention for Best Oral Advocate in her Moot Court class and was also an editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly. Ms. Mujkic worked for the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, in the Habeas Corpus division.
After law school and prior to joining Keller and Heckman, Ms. Mujkic worked for the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As part of the prosecution team, Ms. Mujkic worked on a massive war crimes case with significant impact on the Bosnian and international criminal law jurisprudence.
Ms. Mujkic is proficient and fluent in Bosnian (BCS).
