Amanda Price specializes in chemical and regulatory issues. Her work focuses on commercializing chemicals under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), Canadian Environmental Protection Act 1999 (CEPA), the Australian Industrial Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Act (1989) (ICNAA), and the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH). She assists foreign and domestic companies with preparation of chemical notifications using the Central Data Exchange (CDX), International Uniform Chemical Information Database (IUCLID), and REACH-IT systems, and also assists clients with Chemical Data Reporting (CDR). She has extensive experience working with scientific databases to research information on environmental and mammalian toxicity of chemicals. Her area of expertise includes modeling chemical properties, environmental releases, and human exposures to chemicals.

Prior to joining Keller and Heckman, she worked for Ardelle Associates during which time she created a biomedical reference database using PUBMED for senior investigators at the National Institute of Health. While an intern at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, she worked to improve climate models of the upper atmosphere, and she has also studied recovery of heavy metals from laboratory waste to prevent pollution.
