Herb Estreicher Quoted in Chemical Watch Article "ACI calls for excluding residual 1,4-dioxane from TSCA risk evaluation"

Herb Estreicher was quoted in the March 10 Chemical Watch article "ACI calls for excluding residual 1,4-dioxane from TSCA risk evaluation." Herb indicated that it is unclear whether some conditions of use will receive a "lighter treatment" in a risk evaluation. His comments come after ACI's (American Cleaning Institute) request that the EPA exclude from consideration trace levels of 1,4-dioxane found in consumer products. The EPA is currently determining the scope of the risk evaluations for the 1st 10 chemicals being assessed under the reformed TSCA. To read the article, click here.
